In Halifax, we still have huge snow banks from the record snowfall this winter. we broke records for March and February as well.
Added to the snow removal there has been illnesses in the household. high fever, cough and cold and even today it is cloudy and rainy with snow expected Easter sunday into Monday.
P is in india and she is finding it hot. but food wise Mumbai is the best. she has had puranpolis, dosas, idlis so far. I hope she does not eat roadside as the scare of H1N1 is rampant.
We are planning to go to Montana's for a juicy steak but do not know if the place will be open. With lack of enough money, there are very few things left in life to look forward too and one of them happens to be affordable steak.
Things do take a darker shade when money is not enough. I mean this snow thing: people say very soon it will be spring, but what is the point. it will come and go and once again we will be back to winter. A heart attack is just waiting to happen. Especially with the way HRM does snow pushing. the entire street will finish shovelling huge mounds and go to sleep and then you have these plows show up after 2 months widening the streets and putting massive dumps in just opened driveways.
Is this some kind of sadism? just because you have a monster machine you shove snow in puny people's driveways? there is no answer to this. it is all god's doing. nobody is really mean in this world. it is how and what thoughts god puts in ones mind at an given moment that is how the mortal behaves.
In short, if I a to suffer, I will suffer and somebody else will be responsible for it so that whatever is my destiny is fulfilled.
Maybe winter of 2015 will be my last winter on planet earth, who knows. or maybe it will not snow so much. Maybe HRM will do snow removal instead of snow pushing.
